I enjoyed friendliness of staff, can't recommend it highly enough.
This hotel exceeded all expectations! It was a very enjoyable stay of 3 nights. The breakfast was tasty and gorgeous with tomatoes, a vegetarian option and including cereals, the staff was accommodating and outstandingly accommodating. As for me, the location was great, just next door to the center of town, the shops, the pubs and the pedestrian Latin quarter, railway station and many shops, pubs and restaurants.

Our breakfasts were extensive for gluten free diet. The room turned out to be large and fully-equipped with single at the top, lockers, as for instance. The location of the hotel was perfect and convenient - within a close distance from Quay Street.

I enjoyed two lovely nights in a well-appointed double room with a comfy bed. Some amazing homemade breakfasts that kept me full for hours. The garden space offered some peaceful seating, and I really appreciated the clean vibe throughout the place. The only small drawback was that it wasn't right in the heart of Galway, but just a short walk made it all good 😊

I enjoyed the stay and the breakfast options. The location allowed for easy walks to shops and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and offered good recommendations. I especially appreciated the free wi-fi access , made it easy for me to connect with family back in America.
The room was small with no extra sitting area, made moving around a bit difficult. I also noticed the noise from the street was a bit distracting at times.

Oh, the food scene around Desota House is a treasure! We devoured fresh catches at Hooked and had a hearty pint at John Keogh's Gastropub that was total craic. The breakfast spread was a delight, too! Plus, the room was spacious, giving us plenty of room for our gear. It reminded me of we scored a real gem in Galway.
The B&B is not right in the heart of Galway, but honestly, it's just a quick stroll to the liveliness of the Latin Quarter. A slight walk, but with charm galore, it still wins big in the location department.
